A decent dive bar in the heart of New Haven. Not too much to offer aside from cheap beer and some interesting local-types.

This particular street in New Haven is undergoing some substantial changes, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Anchor go the way of the dinosaur in a couple of years. The neighborhood is being constantly upscaled by Yale, so grab your $1.50 Miller High Lifes while you can.
