| Review: | A typical Irish pub, sure, but Anna Liffey's is really a fun place to throw a few drinks down. Unlike other bars and clubs in New Haven, Anna Liffey's is somewhat unknown to the Yale community. You can go in there with your friends and not recognize another person. This is sometimes ideal when you just want a break from the more typical college bars around campus (Bar, Rudy's, Amigo Felix, Toad's Place, etc.). Anna Liffey's is made up of two floors -- both with their own bar -- and televisions at least on the basement level, but I forget if they have them on the first floor as well. I watched part of the last World Cup inside there and had a great time yelling at the televisions with all the other drunken fools. Good times were had by all. |
