Rudy's is hands down the best place to go to in New Haven. The beer selection is excellent and they have nightly specials for pitchers of various high quality beers. This makes Rudy's a great place to come to and stay for a while. Rudy's also has band nights (with a $2 cover), where you can come and see a local band perform. The bar has been in New Haven for a very long time, and is very popular with Yale students. Rudy's is perhaps best known for its delicious fries. Fries are reasonably priced and come with various dipping sauces.
